There is something magical about a wedding in a rose garden -- something that is romantic, quaint, and intimate. This something was Elizabeth & Drake's beautiful wedding. These two, unlike any other young couple I've seen, have a huge love for each other spurred by their love of God. They glow when they look at each other, they know how to have fun together, and most of all, they love and respect each other. Surrounding by their large and awesome families, they took each others hand in marriage without hesitation. They are such a super sweet couple, who took their wedding day and made it so very personal to them. One of their first dates as students at N. C. State, was at the Raleigh Little Theatre Rose Garden and Drake's love of aviation drew them to RDU's General Aviation Terminal for their wedding locations. These two brought their excited families & friends together to celebrate their love in such a gracious and Christian way! Their personal touches to the ceremony and the reception were unbelievable and radiated the love that Elizabeth + Drake have for each other! Oh, happy day, these two are married and it was an absolute perfect day! Elizabeth + Drake, thank you for letting me photograph such an amazing time in your life! It was my honor to be a part of such a special day! What I will remember the most is your loving smile's towards each other, the way y'all can make each other laugh and enjoy life, and the great amount of love and respect you have towards each other! Best of luck to y'all's new life ahead of you...may Ferruzzi Airlines take you on the journey of your life!
esther & culley get married...finally!
Oh, Esther & Culley! These two have been attached at the hip since 2006, traveling across America selling Hobie kayaks, living the gypsy life, and sharing their love with everyone who surrounds them. They are so near and dear to my heart, they have to be--they're family! But still, they are some of the best people I know who truly have a genuine love for one another! When Esther and Culley travelled to North Carolina for Thanksgiving, we knew something was hiding up their sleeves about finally tying the knot after 7 years of being lovebirds--so we got to planning straight away because they were getting married in a month! These two resisted marriage forever! Why? I have no idea, but I'm so happy they finally gave into it because they had a beautiful day and I'm so blessed to be a part of helping them plan and capture the moments that tell their story (check it out on the pine cones below!). We traveled through the wide gamut of Southern terrain to the Texas Hill Country where we were surrounded by wide-open ranches and knobby, twisting cedar trees. The light was radiant, the temperature crisp, the love was overflowing and the day itself buzzed with excitement and joy! Esther & Culley--I'm so proud to call you family (officially for you, Culley!) and am so thankful you let me create photos that show the world how wonderful, laid back, adventurous, and in completely in love y'all are!
