Megan & Richard are married and I am so happy for this fun-loving couple! This wedding was wonderful to shoot and I'm so happy I had this opportunity to watch my childhood babysitter grow up instead of her watching me for a change. This day was was full of so much love between family and friends, and the I feel all that was captured! The way Richard looks at his beautiful new wife, the way Megan constantly kisses her handsome new husband just beams with love. They are truly meant, in every way, to be with one another. Megan and Richard had their Christmas wedding at the beautiful Harrison Opera House in Norfolk, Virginia. The venue couldn't be more perfect for their special day! So once again, Megan and Richard, thank you so much for allowing me the beautiful opportunity to capture y'all's beautiful day!

So a couple months ago, I got an e-mail from a dear family friend and old babysitter asking me to do her engagement photos. I was so excited, I didn't even have to think twice. I knew I would LOVE to shoot their portraits! Megan and Richard met during graduate school at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, V.A. After being friends for awhile, decided they should date, which of course led to Richard proposing to Megan, because honestly, who couldn't love Megan?

Jerry and I headed up on Memorial Day weekend to have a fun and crazy late afternoon and evening shoot in Norfolk. We shot at Megan and Richard's old apartment (the coolest apartment ever) in downtown Norfolk and then strolled through the historical neighborhood and waterfront for some extra shots! Megan and Richard are a fun-loving couple and absolutely perfect for one another and these pictures definitely show it!
