The world is an astonishing place. Sometimes, I forget that.
As I’m writing this, with hopes of remembering to post once I get wifi, we are flying over the most pristine, unscathed, + purest land I’ve ever been graced with seeing. Currently somewhere between Alaska + Russia, the mountains along the West Coast of our northernmost state blessed my eyes with their unfettered majesty. In a world in which lives in almost a constant state of pollution, there is a mind-blowing, untarnished gift awaiting your eyes. I thank God that gifts like this still exist.
Today (at the time of this finally posting, today became two days ago), Lauren (nickname to be determined) + I time traveled. In a Delorean. That was the size of a Boeing 747. Somehow, we traveled back in time, then jumped forward an entire day. And just like that, Father Time pulled out his best magic trick and made 24 hours disappear. But the view from 35,000 feet and a disappearing 24 hours is one that only dreams could create.
